Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the TimeCarder app (hereby referred to as the “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by the Service Provider as a Freemium service.

By downloading or using the Application, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before using the Application. Copying, modifying, or attempting to extract the source code of the Application, or creating derivative versions, is strictly prohibited. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

The Service Provider works to keep the Application useful, efficient, and reliable. However, they reserve the right to modify the Application or to charge for certain features at any time and for any reason. If charges are introduced, the Service Provider will clearly communicate them to you.

The Application stores and processes personal data that you provide in order to deliver its services, such as your logged work hours, shift details, and settings. You are responsible for keeping your device safe and ensuring that unauthorized persons cannot access the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your device, as doing so removes important security protections and may cause the Application to stop functioning properly.

Please note that the Application uses third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions. Links to these services are provided below:

The Service Provider is not responsible for certain conditions that may affect the Application’s performance. Some functions require an active internet connection, whether through Wi-Fi or a mobile network. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function correctly due to lack of connectivity or data limits.

If you use the Application outside a Wi-Fi zone, please be aware that your mobile provider may charge for data usage or roaming fees. By using the Application, you take full responsibility for any such charges. If you are not the owner of the device being used, we assume you have received permission from the bill payer.

You are also responsible for ensuring your device stays charged. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application becomes unavailable due to your device running out of battery.

While the Service Provider strives to keep all information inside the Application accurate and up to date—including your logged hours, pay calculations, timesheets, and exports—they rely partly on user input and third-party systems. Therefore, they cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect loss resulting from inaccuracies or reliance on the Application’s data.

The Application may be updated occasionally. System requirements may change, and you may need to download updates to continue using the Application. The Service Provider does not promise to always update the Application to remain compatible with every version of your operating system. By continuing to use the Application, you agree to install updates when offered. The Service Provider may also stop providing the Application at any time without notice. After termination, the rights granted to you under these terms will end, and you must stop using and, if necessary, delete the Application.

The Service Provider may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. You are encouraged to review this page periodically for changes. Any updates will be posted on this page.

These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 2025-11-25.
